The Journey Begins

This my first attempt at a blog and I am going to use the opportunity to tell a little more about myself. My blog will also serve as a monitoring tool throughout the course while helping to illustrate what I learn along the way. But first, I feel obligated to give the typical introduction.

I was born and raised in Columbus, OH, but chose to go for my undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston, SC. My work experience generally consists of customer service and and work flow management. And, I am an uncle to a two year old boy who will soon enough have to watch out for a little sister.

There, that was fairly painless. My hope is that this blog paints a more accurate picture of who I am and what I do outside of class. It should be interesting to find out for myself. I am looking forward to getting more started on the journey.

Nice job Wes! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on motivation in a team setting like the one at work and how you would incorporate Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theories.
